Zimbabwe's own queen of crime, Ravayi combines murder and romance. She believes that love normally thrives when a murderer is lurking in the shadows. She is a retired academic and a keen gardener and cook.
She lives in Harare, Zimbabwe where she spends most of her time writing, doing Tibetan Rites, taking care of road runner chickens, sitting in fuel queues and going ballistic in search of clean water. She frequently gets murderous thoughts about many social issues, which she channels into murder mysteries.
Ravayi sometimes lives in Australia where she plays the family matriarch to two grandsons, two nephews and a niece. Once in a while when she is not plotting theoretical murders, she enjoys good wines and good coffee.
